Type Book

This typographic project was created for my typography class and was inspired by Legibility of Type by Linda Reynolds. I wanted to explore the connection between typography and fashion, especially sewing, since both involve building something piece by piece. I used imagery of stitching, thread, and sewing details to show how letters can connect and hold together, similar to fabric. I enjoyed experimenting with how type and sewing visuals could exist together on the page. I also pushed the project further by turning the design into a tote bag and a handmade book, connecting typography to fashion in a more physical, wearable way.
